Epoxy is not intended for applications where exposure to water for long periods. If you do not use read the label of the resin to tell where water is available. It could work in a booth application, since the water only occasionally, but tend to be ceramic tiles and accessories set in mortar. Any epoxy resin, which is the main difference is the installation time. Keep it in place with adhesive tape or adhesive tape on epoxy cure.
I have silicone and it worked well, but it needs something to keep in force until the silicone cures, as a band right?
I have to do with GE silicone for sealing. It works well and is waterproof. You just need a way to keep in place until the caulk sets.
